Hack for default zoom Piano roll?
Hi!
Ableton Live has been my DAW of choice for over a decade now, coming from Logic and before that Cubase.
I was so used to the default zoom of both Logic’s and Cubase’s pianoroll editors and I hate the way Live insist on showing everything inside a MIDI clip, forcing me to always adjust the grid to 1/16 and the height to whatever resembles that of the notes in Logic’s and Cubase editor.
Without doing this I find it very hard to see what is going on.
Does anyone know of a hack (options.txt or M4L) that forces the editor to always stay in that prefered zoom of mine?
Ableton should really make this a setting.
Thanks anyhoo!
OlavB
