You asked, so I’ll answer…

I switched from VST/VST3 to CLAP for all my available CLAP plugins because I am not a Steinberg customer.

As I am not a Steinberg user, I do not wish for that company to decide the future of plugin formats used in my projects, or for a company I have no connection with, to be able to unilaterally decide when a hitherto industry standard plugin format is discontinued.

I use CLAP because it isn’t owned by a company that I am not a customer of. I also like backwards…
