I filled out the survey. I think that tools do have an impact on the way we express ourselves. I don’t have much to say about authenticity, as I don’t think that comes from the tool. It’s up to the artist to express themself authentically (or choose not to, as it’s own form of artistic expression) with whichever instruments they use.
Authenticity is also something that is observed/perceived by the listener and informed by their own biases. That’s just not something I put much thought into when…
