reactjs – Component takes too long to render in React Native (with expo)

So I have two tabs and then I have something like this (simplified):

{selectedTab === 0 && }
{selectedTab === 1 && }

The thing is, when switching from tab 1 to tab 0, Component1 takes like 1/2 seconds to render since it has a lot of things, and the content of Component2 is shown until it has rendered, but the tab animation (which is another custom component) is instant so it looks weird.

Is there any way to show a loader or something while Component1 is rendering so it’s a better UX?
