The standalone installation of Audiveris could be better. At least you can tweak more parameters to, hopefully, improve the recognition. Also, it’s also possible to correct recognition errors in Audiveris before it’s opened in Musescore.

Thats being said, I’ve only used Audiveris with some success on single instrument pdfs. For a complete score, there are simply too many errors. In particular staffs where two instruments are noted as two voices (Ob. 1/2, Clar. 1/2 etc.) are problematic.

By the way, we play, among others, Finlandia in our concert the coming Saturday.
