google cloud platform – GCS Objects Not Public Despite Setting allUsers with Storage Object Viewer Role

I’ve been following the steps outlined in the Google Cloud Storage documentation to make objects in a specific folder of my GCS bucket publicly accessible.

I’ve ensured that the allUsers principal has been granted the Storage Object Viewer role for the folder (managed folder). Despite this, none of the objects within the folder are showing as publicly accessible. I’ve tried accessing them through the public URLs, but they still require authentication (prompting me to log in).

I’ve double-checked the permissions several times and can’t figure out what I’m missing. Does it typically take some time for permissions to propagate, or could there be another issue at play?
