Melda plugins can almost all do this via modulating the input or output gain. Most synths that have an FX mode or sidechain input Can do this. Zebrify, pigments, etc etc etc. there are many many simple gate plugins and trance gate plugins that have a midi trigger mode. Dfx skidder is one I use for this often. It’s all about there and is also simple to put together in pure data, Reaktor, Max, Synth Edit, Flowstone, Bitwig’s internal mod system and so on.
