Replacing nginx with axum | Lobsters
Very interesting. I am curious if you know anything about the keepalive support in Axum? The ability to send multiple requests in one connection.
For example, if you use netcat to send two requests in one body with that reverse proxy setup do you get two requests back or one?
$ echo -ne "GET / HTTP/1.1\r\nHost: a\r\nContent-Length: 0\r\n\r\nGET / HTTP/1.1\r\nConnection: close\r\n\r\n" | nc localhost 3000
I ask because I help maintain Puma, a Ruby web server. But I also write a lot of rust. There’s some problems with the puma keepalive logic and I was hoping to see rust logic in existing servers I might emulate. Or look at to understand.
