S-Gear Standalone App will not start the ASIO device driver (Windows)
The following steps will clear the S-Gear Audio Settings in the registry. This may help resolve problems loading/starting an ASIO driver.
- Close S-Gear
- Click the Windows search icon and type ‘regedit’, open Registry Editor
- Navigate the folder tree to find the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Scuffham Amps\S-Gear2 - Right click on the key and select ‘Delete’ from the menu
(take care not to delete any other registry keys!)
The S-Gear2 key will be recreated next time you start S-Gear.
