Melda crashing Studio One – MeldaProduction Forum

I had 2 recent problems which may or may not shed light on your issue, but it’s something to look into. The folder references are for Windows.

1. When I updated Melda to v17 (from v14) I discovered that the old version files in “C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction” were not getting replaced so I had to uninstall Melda completely, clear that folder, and reinstall.

2. Separate problem but not with Melda plugins, one DAW crashed for a particular plugin suite while others didn’t. I found that “C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3” contained the current plugin versions, while a sub-folder (with the suite name) had old versions (so deleted old sub-folder). It’s possible that VST2 files are duplicated too.
