GROSS BEAT (Shaperbox) – 1/2 Speed aka Halfspeed possible to smooth the effect? – Effects Forum

You can do it manually. Gross beat as far as I now plays the input at half speed, but to keep the tempo it skips every 2nd time tick. So if you want manual half time, just render out the part, stretch it by x2 aka double it’s length, which drops it’s pitch by 1 octave. Now keep the parts you want and smooth how you want. You can also just pitch the part down 1 octave without stretching it, which keeps the timing but loses the “gross beat” effect. Play around and try out.
