Using SWAM Strings to build an ensemble? – Instruments Forum
Has anyone attempted to make a small, or large ensemble using the SWAM Solo String instruments? I’ve had these for a couple months, but have mostly used them for small solo flourishes.
I imagine to get a decent small ensemble I’ll have to start with some slight detuning of all instruments. It may also help to use different presets as there are more than one model of each instrument included. I’ll either record each instrument separately, or at least edit all CC data after of any copied MIDI tracks.

Has anyone else tried this with success? Any tips you can offer? Eq, panning etc.
I’m mostly looking to create something of a retro soul/funk/disco section, so that likely means a lot of violins, but any small pop ensemble tips would be valuable.
