Before I get complaints, yes, I have used Linux on bare metal in the past although it was 2012 and briefly in 2018.

I decided to give Manjaro a try since cospylot+ recall was announced. Pretty slick UI, easy to locate settings I wanted to change fairly easily, and good mix of pre-installed applications out of the box.

However, I went to install Steam from the application store. It needed a restart, ok, cool, seems normal. And then it came up in 1024×768 and broke the driver (I guess?). I reinstalled the OS.

I know it’ll be a learning curve, it’s just kind of frustrating to break the OS/driver/whatever in 5 minutes flat.
