ftp – OpenWRT File Server Software Epic Fail

Between vague instructions on the web, missing/uninstallable packages, etc. days of effort left me a digital hot mess. I tried Samba, NFS (complete with the uninstallable portmap), and FTP all to no avail. Do I really need to reflash the router with the e-hot mess to redo from start?

Is there a way to uninstall the 3 offending server packages to clean up this mess? (and not waste CPU cycles on misconfigured/unconfigurable software)

It would be nice if the maintainers of these server systems made the packages easier to set up like a better LUCI setup. I have a Linksys WRT1200AC with the 23.05.2 release on it. How long until the next release so they have a chance to improve on it?
