Wireless audio gains an additional level of sophistication with the new Qualcomm S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 Sound
The primary component of audio devices, such as earbuds, headphones, and speakers, is the audio’s driving force, which is also a crucial factor in determining the quality of speakers and headphones. Nevertheless, newer hardware can enhance the sound quality in consumer audio products, as their structures have become more complex in recent times.
The S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 platforms, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound technology, were unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit thanks to this.
Qualcomm’s Micro NPU AI engine, multiple DSP Cores, sensor hub, and memory boost will all be integrated into the new platforms, along with a 300% memory boost. These platforms also provide longer WiFi connectivity, so you can leave your PC or phone behind and keep connected.
Qualcomm’s S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 processors are capable of producing audiophile sound with high bit-rate sound and low power consumption, reducing battery consumption and improving earbud and headphone durability for wireless speakers.
Qualcomm’s emphasis on AI in the S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 platforms has led to an increase in its ability to learn when ANC should be activated in real-world scenarios, without taking into account other factors that affect sound quality. However, the new S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1 platforms should offer a boost in performance, features, and power efficiency.
