ed/lmff: lmms missing file finder – lmff
lmms missing file finder

the problem
LMMS projects use absolute paths for user resources. Support for local paths was added in 1.3.0, but it’s still in alpha as of writing and there are likely far fewer project files making use of it.
There is no provided method for finding missing resources. Sometimes you gotta do it yourself.
usage
./lmff.py project [options]...
| option | description |
|---|---|
| -o, –outfile | Where to write the patched file. Will create missing directories. Defaults to [name].lmff.[ext] (ex. ‘project.lmff.mmpz’). |
| -d, –directory | Directory to search in. Search is recursive. Defaults to ~. |
| -p, –preserve-format | Only search for files of similar type. spadinner.ogg would not appear when searching for spadinner.flac. |
| -m, –match-substr | Enable substring search. uhh_no.ogg would appear when searching for no.ogg. Use with caution. |
| -v, –verbose | Enable basic logging. |
The extension of the outfile does not have to match the infile; conversion between .mmp and .mmpz is supported.
