google cloud platform – Custom dimensions not available in BigQuery (but available in GA4 UI and Looker)

I have several event-scope custom dimensions setup using GTM. They successfully fire and record in GA4 and I can also see them in Looker. However, they are nowhere to be found in BigQuery. The rest of the data is available, but there’s no “customDimension” field in my schema.

I’ve looked through every field and there’s no dimension name or index number or anything else referencing a custom dimension.

Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated, we need the custom dimensions.
