Noise from PreSonus Studio 26c – Computer Setup and System Configuration Forum

I have a PreSonus Studio 26c connected to a Windows 11 PC via usb and output to two Tannoy Reveal powered monitors. With the monitors connected and on, as soon as I plug in the usb to the Presonus I get a lot of noise in the monitors. Neither windows volume nor main volume on the presonus affects the noise level. There isn’t any noise in the headphone output. When I connect a synth to my monitors using the same cables, I don’t get any noise. These are unbalanced mono 1/4 cables. The PC, monitors and synth are all powered through the same outlet.

Any ideas on why this is happening? I guess feedback loop through the usb but I don’t see any way to fix that…
