I felt like I got very mixed results when I tried it (on sort of plucky synth sounds). I found it easy to make transients sound really choppy and awful (whether boosting or cutting the first two stages), and generally had a better time with compressors or limiters. I had better results from disabling the first three stages and only using Air to boost/cut the reverb tails.

Maybe I just chose the worst case sort of sound to use it with and it’s better for drums etc.
