Stream IP cameras to multiple screens

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to stream 12 IP cameras to 2 seperate tv screens. I tried using a raspberry pi and sending smtp streams to it but 12 cameras is 2 much for the raspi to handle.

My other idea was to maybe use an NVR with a hdmi splitter and two receivers/transmitters, this is however quite an expensive solution.

Lastly i had the idea of having 2 wireless NVR’s next to each TV, but i would rather only have 1 NVR in a server rack.

Some extra info: IP Cameras are connected through wifi to access points. TV’s aren’t smart TV’s and don’t have a LAN connection nearby.
