The developer may have similar views about synthesis, but they are not expressed in that article.

It’s talking about analog gear which includes filters. I was responding to a post which asked for analog modeled filters. Maybe there’s a part in the article which specifically says this doesn’t apply to filters? Could you point it out to me?

The entire article is about analog recording gear vs digital recording gear. It is not discussing synthesis.
