Whilst I would be the first to say that size doesn’t mean everything, for sure there is a correlation.

In the ToonTrack ones the ones in the yellow rectangle are the SD3 generation ones, the others (except the EZ) are SD2 generation ones.

ADAP 1053 – Modern Jazz Sticks

And yes I know XLN uses high level compression on their stuff…
